Amara's Farm by JaNay Brown-WoodMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
A little too much for the toddlers last week but great for the preschoolers this morning. And I love the introduction of a vast array of fruits and vegetables that have some characteristics of pumpkins but not enough to actually be a pumpkin.
I also liked that it involved the children in the book by asking them each time if this item in Amara's hand was a pumpkin and then explaining what it had that was like a pumpkin but also how it is different.
